Quoting Analyst

Position Description

Benu Operations is made up of 3 distinct functional areas: Quoting, Employer Services, and Premium Management.The Operations Analyst will be trained and proficient in any or all of these areas.

In the Quoting functional area, the Operations Analyst will work directly with Benu’s health plan partners and the insurance broker community, providing support to all facets of the sales cycle, including the review and processing of requests for proposals, coordinating health plan response to broker requests, assembling and releasing proposals to market, and responding to questions from brokers.

The Employer Services functional area focuses on the implementation of new business on the Benu administration platform and the ongoing administration of billing and eligibility for our clients.Supporting Benu clients includes manning the phones in our call-center, monitoring the team email box and managing the monthly invoice process.

Premium Management is responsible for the timely and accurate reporting and transfer of all premium from our clients to our health plan partners.

Team members are expected to do a wide variety of tasks and take on multiple roles.Many tasks have specific timeline requirements and team members are expected to complete their work by the specified deadline.Because team members are exempt there is some flexibility around start and end times but all employees are expected to schedule their day such that all work is completed on-time.

This is a full time position, based at the company’s corporate head quarters in San Mateo and has no travel requirements.

Requirements

  •     4 year college degree from a top tier university
  •     Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  •     Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  •     Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  •     Strong people skills
  •     Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access) and computer skills
  •     Excellent mastery of English
  •     Highly motivated and dependable
  •     Strong work ethic, commitment to task and focus on ownership and responsibility
